Everyone!  All employees across APMEA South are invited and encouraged to attend. SkillsFest will host a diverse mix of internal and external speakers, covering a range of topics, touching on careers, growth, mindset and much more. There will be something for everyone, regardless of where you are in your growth journey. 
SkillsFest is a fully digital, online event, held in our very own South Metaverse (aka the vFairs Platform), the first event of its kind within BAT APMEA South! You don’t have to travel to any specific location to attend, and you can participant from anywhere that you have internet access.

For those who prefer a more communal experience, we’ll also set up hubs in our offices open to broadcast some of the sessions.  The in-person hubs are optional and designed to enhance your experience, but you can still participate in the entire event virtually if you can’t be in the office on those days.
Yes! While SkillsFest is primarily a virtual event, we’re making it a fully immersive, hybrid experience. SkillsFest Office Hubs will be set up at each of our main office locations across APMEA South. You're welcome to visit these hubs in person during SkillsFest to connect and engage with other attendees.
SkillsFest offers a dynamic and flexible experience with multiple sessions and workshops happening concurrently. You can check the event agenda here to see all the sessions available at the same time and choose the ones that interest you most. This setup allows you to tailor your experience by selecting the most relevant and engaging sessions for your growth.

Once the event doors open, you can log in using your email address and the password: SkillsFest2024. If you'd like to change your password, just click on "Forgot/Reset Password" during login, and you'll receive an email with a link to set a new one.
Yes! Please invite your colleagues to participate in the event if they belong to the APMEA South team.
Yes. We will provide a link to a Resource Library in the event platform, where documents provided by presenters are available to all.
No. You do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have a good internet connection.
You can easily find all the details about the Talent Marketplace on our Shrepoint hub (HERE) . Just head to the Talent Marketplace playbook for resources, FAQs, and guides on how to create your profile, explore opportunities, and connect with potential roles that match your skills and career aspirations.
Yes, the event platform is compatible with any computer, laptop or mobile device and any browser.
No, the use of webcams and microphones is neither required nor allowed during the sessions. All interactions will take place through the session's chat feature. This ensures a smooth and distraction-free experience for all participants.
Yes, the event 'doors' will open to participants a few days before the event. During this time, attendees can explore the platform and view some of the videos and content.

Yes! You can attend the sessions that work with your time schedule. It is highly encouraged to be present for the full duration of the event and attend all sessions as they will help with your personal and professional growth. 
Absolutely, we understand how important this event is to you! All sessions will be recorded, and you will have access to them for one month following SkillsFest. This way, you won't miss out on any of the valuable content.
All the sessions will be recorded and remain available to all South employees for one month following SkillsFest
Yes, and we highly encourage you to! Instructions will be provided for testing your system and familiarizing yourself with the platform ahead of the event. This will ensure everything runs smoothly on the big day.
Absolutely! All sessions will have closed captions available in both Bahasa Indonesia and Vietnamese. You can select your preferred language to ensure you get the most out of the event.
If you have questions about the event, please visit the support station where our People Experience Partners will be available live to assist you. For technical issues, you can email skillsfest@getvfairs.io at any point during the event for troubleshooting assistance.
Absolutely! We’re excited to offer you a certificate for your participation. To earn it, just complete these four steps: Join us for the event on 15 and 16 October. Take part in a career booth roundtable—it’s a great way to engage and connect! Attend a webinar or panel and stay for the entire session (100% attendance). Meet these criteria, and you’ll receive a certificate to celebrate your involvement. We can’t wait to see you there!????
